Heidi Dandurand has been in the financial industry for over 21 years. This gives her an extremely strong understanding of clients needs and the services/products that can fill those needs. She has been an independent broker for almost 6 years which gives her a vast knowledge of the companies out there that should compete for your mortgage! As an independent broker, she works for you, not the financial institution. Her focus, dedication and service, will help you get the very best product and rate out there.

She is also very involved in Central Alberta through her volunteer work. As a current Co-Chair of the Festival of Trees, and the Event Coordinator for the Women of Excellence recognition awards, she is helping to make Central Alberta a great place to live.

I moved to Red Deer in 1996, from an extremely small town in Eastern Alberta. I enjoy the City life however the small town atmosphere is what makes Red Deer my home. I have been a mortgage associate for 2 years, but previously worked with a financial institution for 7 years. With two small children, this business allows me to meet a balance of working from the office and at home. I meet with clients in the evening and weekends, or whenever it is convenient for both parties.

I enjoy assisting people to help make their dreams of owning their own home come true. Keeping updated on the ever changing market is something that I take pride in. My knowledge base also includes investment and retirement planning, which plays a large role when purchasing a home or rental property.

Working through a brokerage and being able to access numerous different lenders, makes my job easier to find a product and a rate for my clients situation. My first focus is to keep my clients needs and expectations top priority.

Kari and her husband have operated their own limited company since 2002, so she understands the trials and tribulations of establishing/ growing a business. She has lived it! Prior to building their business, Kari worked in the non-profit sector. She has helped many societies with government granting applications and provided insightful solutions to help keep their businesses operating.

Kari has 4 young boys that keep her running and volunteering with hockey and lacrosse. She is hoping to help families that might think owning their own home is unattainable, or families like hers who are growing and hence "outgrowing" their present home!

Over the past 6 years, I have specialized in educating the customer about mortgages in order to save them time and money throughout the whole mortgage process. My background as a Real-Estate Paralegal, makes it easy for me to correctly inform you of the whole process when it comes to purchasing a new house, getting a mortgage, or re-financing.  Furthermore, I hold customer service as my top priority, and will do everything I can in order to meet your financing needs.

My interest in the financial industry began when I accepted a position with the Bank of Montreal. A desire to learn and own my own business led to joining my husband in a variety of business ventures ranging from farming to new home construction and renovation to a retail fashion business. As a past General Manager of the Centre for Business Development, I assisted people in achieving their dream of owning their own business by helping them develop a business plan and presenting that plan to the lender for financing.

Becoming a mortgage planner is a natural progression for me. I have experienced the challenge of securing financing while being self employed.
